This month “Sitawa Ignited” celebrates its one year anniversary with Dutch poet Dette Glashouwer who won the Mediamatic-award in Amsterdam for her pieces “Money” and “Enough”. The Business Lounge, fourth floor, at the Junction will host this event. There will also be a screening of “Blood of Women”, which is a poignant documentary on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). As usual there will treats on the house, poetry and music. “Sitawa Ignited” is a monthly evening of poetry, wine and everything in between hosted by poet Sitawa Wafula every last Saturday in Nairobi and every first Saturday in Nakuru.
